Tsunami of outrage sweeps India

Around midnight on Sunday, within a couple of hours of the violence in Delhi, a small group of Mumbai students had gathered at the Gateway of India with candles and posters expressing solidarity with JNU. By Monday evening, the gathering turned into a floating population of protesters taking turns to sing, chant and shout slogans against the rampage by masked goons on the JNU campus. The faces in the crowd included students from IIT-Bombay, Tata Institute of Social Sciences and Mumbai University.
