Kolkata hospital violence: Who's to blame

The brutal assault on Monday on a junior doctor in Kolkata has triggered massive protests among medicos in the country. To mark their solidarity with members of their fraternity in Bengal (who are on a strike demanding adequate security in hospitals), they have called for a suspension of all non-emergency services including OPD and routine surgeries.
