Why Election Commission has ample time to declare Lok Sabha poll dates

As the first session of the 17th Lok Sabha must be held by June 3, the entire poll schedule can come to an end by May 15 and election results can be announced by May 20. Two weeks will still be left for the swearing in of the new government and convening of the 17th Lok Sabha session.
